Working tonight on a MAX 8 and grabbed pics of the under-seat spaces since folks asked in my last post. If you’re in the extra-legroom row with a standard backpack, honestly you might be better off in the middle or window. The aisle spot is basically cut in half only a small purse or slim briefcase fits.
Middle and window are better, but still not amazing if your bag isn’t squishy. So if you’re carrying a normal backpack, you’ll probably end up using the overhead and grabbing what you need mid-flight.
