I’m currently onboard the Allure of the Seas. We stopped at CocoCay yesterday and were scheduled to visit Falmouth tomorrow and Nassau on Friday. However, the captain just announced over the PA that there is a problem with the ship’s propulsion system.
Because of this, the ship has turned around and we are now heading back to Nassau for repairs. As a result, the stop at Falmouth has been canceled, and instead we will be in Nassau tomorrow and again on Friday.
It feels like we are barely moving at the moment, which is making me a bit uneasy. This is only my second cruise, and I am looking for reassurance that everything will be okay and that we will make it back safely. My mind keeps drifting to worst-case scenarios from past cruise incidents.
