Went through TSA at JFK T1 around 9pm and tried a few Priority Pass lounges.
Air France lounge turned me away saying they don’t accept PP at that hour. Lufthansa lounge also denied entry saying it was only for business class passengers. Korean Air lounge was closed when I first passed by but opened around 9:30.
When I went back, they initially said the lounge was for Korean Air passengers only but eventually let me in anyway. The funny part was the place was almost completely empty.
Ended up staying there and the food was actually great. They had Korean ramen and fried chicken.
Overall though, the experience felt pretty inconsistent. Compared to lounges in Europe or Asia, Priority Pass definitely seems to be treated differently in the US.
