Had something strange happen with a Priority Pass lounge booking and I’m wondering if anyone else has seen this.
We booked the No1 Lounge at Heathrow through the Priority Pass app. At the time of booking we paid £48 total for two people, which we assumed was the entry fee.
Then a few days after actually using the lounge, another £48 charge showed up.
Apparently the first £48 was only a “pre-booking fee” to reserve the space, and the second £48 was the actual lounge entry fee. So in total we paid £96 for two people.
What’s frustrating is that during the booking process it really didn’t seem clear that the first payment was just a reservation fee. £24 per person just to reserve a spot feels pretty excessive.
Has anyone else run into this with Priority Pass lounge reservations?
