Booked a Southwest basic fare last week for a flight next month. Just noticed the exact same flight is now over $100 cheaper.
Thinking of canceling and rebooking to grab the lower price.
For those who’ve done this, how fast do the flight credits show up after canceling? Is it basically instant, or is there a delay where the price could jump back up before I can rebook?
Am I missing any downside here with a basic fare? Just don’t want to cancel and then get stuck.
