I recently booked a cruise through the US website, and afterward booked the same cruise for my wife’s family using the European version of the site. The European booking ended up being about $300 cheaper per cabin, and the drink package was also less expensive.
For context, my wife is European but currently lives in the US with me. In hindsight, I could have booked our reservation under her using the EU site as well.
I’m trying to understand why there’s such a noticeable price difference between regions, even after accounting for currency conversion. It’s frustrating to see the same cruise priced higher for US customers.
Has anyone else noticed similar differences or have insight into why this happens?
