We’re flying to Seoul in premium economy, but our return is in basic economy on United.
Now I’m a little worried about that long flight home in basic. Is there usually a decent chance to buy an upgrade closer to departure if premium seats don’t sell?
What’s a realistic price range people have seen for paid upgrades on long haul? And does United do upgrade offers or auctions near departure for unsold premium seats?
Just trying to set expectations before we’re stuck in the back for 12+ hours.
