Premium Economy: Definitely Better, But Still Feels Like a Pricey Middle Seat

The more I fly premium economy, the more I think of it as "economy that won’t ruin my back." You get more space, sometimes decent perks like real cutlery or a glass of prosecco, but it’s still very much economy in spirit. I’ve found the sweet spot is using points for upgrades or redemptions, definitely not worth dropping double or triple the cash fare.

Also, that recline-from-the-seat-in-front situation is real. Nothing says “premium” like a tray table smashing into your gut mid-meal. Anyone else only book aisle in PE for this reason?20220408_Scandinavian-Airlines-A321LR_BSmithson-67
