Preboarder tried to save 12 seats on my DAL–DCA flight

On my flight today a preboarder blocked off the first two rows for people in Group C. That’s 12 seats saved. They even argued with folks trying to sit there and slowed down boarding. After seeing that, I get why Southwest is moving to assigned seating.
