This was our first time flying Frontier Airlines, and I wanted to share a positive experience since most discussions tend to focus on negative ones.
We flew as a family of three (two adults and a 7-year-old) from BWI to MSY on both outbound and return direct flights. We paid for seat selection and priority boarding, though in hindsight priority boarding wasn’t really necessary since the process was very efficient.
We traveled with only personal items, and no one checked baggage sizes at the gate. Contrary to what I expected from common complaints, staff didn’t seem overly strict about bags unless they were obviously oversized.
The flights themselves were smooth and comfortable. After the initial onboard sales announcements, the cabin was quiet, lighting was dimmed, and service announcements were minimal. The crew was friendly and helpful, and both flights actually arrived early.
Overall, it was a much better experience than expected and helped ease some concerns I had before flying.
