My partner and I just disembarked from a 4-night sailing on Carnival Glory, and I wanted to share something we noticed.
Early in the morning, around 4:00 a.m., while we were heading out of our cabin to catch the sunrise, we saw security personnel walking through the stateroom corridors with a police dog.
After speaking with a crew member later, we were told that the dog is sometimes used during early morning patrols, and if a cabin draws attention, security may follow up later.
Most people are aware that Carnival uses police dogs during embarkation in the terminal, but we were surprised to learn they may also be used onboard during the voyage itself.
Regardless of personal opinions on the policy, it’s worth noting that bringing something onboard does not necessarily mean it goes unnoticed for the rest of the trip.
