Picked the personalized luggage tag as my AA Loyalty Points reward this year and didn’t hear a thing for weeks. It really does take the full 6 weeks. They just use whatever name and address is in your AA profile, and the tag only shows your full name no status level or anything.
It’s hard plastic, credit-card sized but thicker (like stacking three cards). Has some weight to it and comes with one of those tough plastic lanyards that’s annoying to cut but won’t fall off.
Kinda neat, kinda basic. Just sharing in case anyone else is wondering what they actually send.
