Personal item allowance on Turkish Airlines

I am flying Turkish Airlines for the first time at the end of the month and have a question about their personal item size rules.

I recently purchased a bag for this trip but it is slightly over the stated dimensions, about half an inch too tall and too wide on paper. However, it still fits comfortably under a seat.

How strictly does Turkish Airlines enforce personal item size limits in practice? Do they typically measure bags at the gate or is enforcement more flexible as long as it fits under the seat?
