Hello, I’ll be flying with Starlux later this year and I’m trying to understand their personal item size policy. The allowed dimensions for a personal carry item are listed as 16 × 12 × 4, which seems quite restrictive compared to other airlines.
I was considering using an Osprey 26+6 backpack, but it appears too large to meet these requirements. In fact, most travel backpacks I’ve looked at exceed the stated dimensions.
Is this size limit strictly enforced, or is there some flexibility? It almost seems like they don’t really intend passengers to bring a separate personal item.
