Just saw this on the sub. Someone built PerkSnob, basically a site where Platinum and up can see what perks they actually get at specific Marriott properties.
Honestly the idea makes a lot of sense. Half the frustration with Marriott elites is the inconsistency. One hotel gives full breakfast and late checkout no problem, another fights you on everything or hands out a $10 voucher and calls it a day.
I like that it’s focused on real reports from elite members instead of generic reviews. Knowing in advance if a hotel actually honors 4pm checkout or upgrades consistently would save a lot of headaches.
Obviously it’ll only be as good as the data people put in, but as a community project it’s kind of cool. Curious to see if people actually use it and keep it updated.
