Woke up to crystal-clear skies here in Grand Rapids and it’s shaping up to be one of those late-summer gems. Highs in the low 80s, a light north-northwest breeze, and humidity finally backing off. Lake Michigan beaches are looking tempting water’s in the mid-70s with air temps near 80, though waves might get up to 2–4 feet later.
Looks like Thursday stays mild and sunny, Friday warms into the upper 80s, and then we’re in for a hot weekend with plenty of 90s. Chance of storms stays mostly north Saturday but everyone might see some rain Sunday. I’m thinking of sneaking in one more beach day before the heat hits. Anyone else heading lakeside?
