People putting bags in the front bins while sitting in the back… someone had an interesting “solution”

I saw this post from a Southwest flyer and honestly it made me laugh a bit.

They said when the bins are full near their seat but clearly nobody sitting there owns the bags, they’ll start asking whose bag it is. If nobody claims it, they’ll pull it out and tell the flight attendant it looks like someone left a bag behind.

Then the FA tries to figure out whose it is and sometimes it ends up getting gate checked.

Bit chaotic but I get the frustration. The whole “put your bag 10 rows ahead and walk back to your seat” thing drives people crazy on Southwest since seating is open.

Still… I’m not sure I’d have the guts to actually do that.
