I recently flew Pegasus on an international route and was surprised to learn that they don’t provide free water at all, not even a cup. Cabin crew confirmed this is their policy and that the only option is to buy drinks from the onboard cafe.
I know Pegasus is a low cost carrier, but I’m curious whether this is actually permitted under Turkish aviation regulations. I’ve heard there may have been a rule introduced in 2025, but I can’t find anything in English. If anyone knows where this is documented, I’d appreciate a link.
Have others experienced this with Pegasus or other low cost airlines on longer international flights? I’m trying to understand whether this is standard practice now or something more specific to Pegasus.
