I’m flying with Turkish Airlines from Germany to Jakarta on 17 June 2026.
My Hungarian passport expires on 14 December 2026, which means it is slightly under the 6-month validity requirement for Indonesia at the time of arrival (about 5 months and 26 days remaining).
I contacted Turkish Airlines, but they didn’t give a clear answer and told me to check at the airport.
Has anyone had experience with Turkish Airlines on this route or similar situations?
How strict are they with enforcing the 6-month passport validity rule at check-in?
