My flight with Scandinavian Airlines was cancelled and rebooked last month. However, I chose not to take the alternative itinerary because it would have made my journey around 12 hours longer.
I submitted a refund request about two days after the cancellation, but it has now been a month and I still have not received any money back.
In addition, we also submitted a compensation claim under EU passenger rights rules, but we have not yet received a response to that either.
I am trying to understand whether this delay is normal and how long refunds typically take in similar cases, as well as what others have experienced with compensation processing.
