I recently had a poor experience on Turkish Airlines flight TK184 from Mexico City to Istanbul (3 May).
My assigned seat (12K) had a faulty recline mechanism, which made it very uncomfortable to sit through the nearly 15-hour flight. I informed the cabin crew and senior flight attendant, but since the flight was full, I was told to remain in the same seat.
The issue caused significant discomfort and back pain throughout the journey. I even submitted a complaint while still onboard using inflight Wi-Fi, but received no immediate resolution.
After the flight, I filed two formal complaints, but the airline later denied that the issue occurred, which I found frustrating and disappointing.
I am wondering if others have experienced similar situations and what steps can be taken to escalate or resolve such complaints effectively.
