I have an upcoming long-haul flight on a Qatar Airways Boeing 777-300ER from Doha to New York (DOH–JFK), and I’m trying to decide between two seat options.
I currently have seat 23K reserved, which is an exit row seat and should normally offer extra legroom. However, from the seat map and 360° view, it looks like the exit door structure in front might reduce usable space and limit how much I can stretch my legs.
Because of this, I’m also considering switching to seat 37D instead, which is a standard seat further back in the cabin.
I’m looking for firsthand experience or advice on whether 23K is still comfortable on this aircraft type, or if 37D would be the better overall choice for comfort on a long flight.
