Booked a place on Booking.com and the listing clearly said “pay nothing until 3 November 2026.” Then out of nowhere my card gets charged in full on 28 November 2025 by something called “Partner on Booking BV.”
Checked with the hotel and they sent me their paperwork… and it shows my reservation came through Agoda, not Booking. At no point did it say anything about a third party with different payment rules.
I’m going to cancel, but has anyone seen this weird Booking → Agoda redirect thing before? Why would it charge almost a year early?
