Trying to understand this. We paid for carry ons and seats in Groups 1 and 2, boarded early, and still got forced to check our bags. They said it was a full flight.
What doesn’t make sense is that later boarding groups were allowed to bring theirs on. If overhead space was the issue, wouldn’t it run out after the later groups, not before?
We had important and breakable items and were told at the last second to check them. Super frustrating.
First time flying Frontier and honestly this left a bad taste.
