My mom and sister paid outright for first class on a 6 hour flight. They booked it mainly because my sister is pregnant and traveling with a baby, so the extra space really mattered.
At the gate they were suddenly reassigned to row 29. No heads up, no real explanation, just a shrug and “nothing we can do.” Gate agents were pretty rude about it too.
They also lost the meals they preordered, and now there’s no food planned for the baby. Just feels wild to pay for first class and end up in the back with zero notice.
