Flew Frontier on December 23 with my son and paid extra for stretch seating on the second leg since it was much longer. When we boarded, it was obvious right away that our seats did not have extra legroom at all.
I asked the flight attendant and was told they swapped to a different aircraft with a different seating layout, so the extra legroom seats weren’t where they were shown in the app when I specifically selected and paid for them.
To make it worse, the very tall guy next to me had also paid for legroom and had nowhere to put his legs, so they were basically in my space the whole flight. I was more cramped than on the shorter first leg.
I’ve requested a refund three times and keep getting denied because “you paid for row 13 and you sat in row 13.” Completely ignoring the fact that row 13 on this plane did not have the product I paid for.
It’s only about $90, but the principle of it makes me furious. At this point I just hope I have the discipline to never fly Frontier again.
