Nice little surprise this week.
I picked Delta for the Amex Platinum airline credit but honestly didn’t expect to get much out of it since I rarely check bags or pay fees.
Booked a Delta flight and just paid with the Platinum. I did apply some old Delta eCredits from a delay last year, so only part of it was charged to the card.
A few days later Amex wiped the whole thing out with the $200 airline credit.
Not complaining at all. Maybe the way it coded because of the eCredits did the trick.
Switched from CSR to Amex Platinum recently and between this and the other perks, I’m already feeling pretty good about it.
