Booked a catering order for a 350+ person event and paid $4,500 upfront.
Morning of the event, the owner suddenly says the order was “wrong” and tries to charge way more or cut the food. Manager I booked with basically disappeared.
We agreed to adjust the order and keep it at $4,500, but when the food showed up late, it was shockingly small portions. Supposed to feed 8 per tray, barely fed 1–2.
Ended up with not enough food for guests and it was honestly embarrassing.
Owner refused any refund after.
