A few weeks after the shutdown, a number of Spirit aircraft still appear to be spread across different locations within the network. Many others have already been repositioned to long-term storage locations, particularly desert facilities, and it seems likely that additional aircraft may be moved there over the coming weeks.
Based on currently observed aircraft positions, several remain at operational airports while others are in transit or storage staging locations. The distribution provides an interesting snapshot of where the fleet stands during this transition period.
