I have a European passport and miscounted my days. I’ll be overstaying my Sri Lanka visa by about 14 hours.
What’s the realistic outcome here? Fine at the airport? Forced to pay for an extension? Any chance they just let it slide?
If there is a fine, can you usually pay by card or is it cash only?
Also, does arriving super early to the airport make any difference, like technically reducing the overstay by a few hours? Or is it just based on the visa expiry date regardless of when you clear immigration?
