Arriving into Delhi Airport Terminal 3 (international) around 2:00 AM, then flying out again around 8:00 AM from Terminal 1 (domestic).
The concern is what to do during those few hours in between. Booking a hotel in Aerocity feels a bit unnecessary for such a short time.
After landing the plan would be to clear immigration, collect bags, and leave the terminal, then eventually head to T1 by shuttle or Uber. Some information online suggests that T1 might not allow entry too early, which makes the timing a bit confusing.
Wondering if it’s possible to wait at T3 arrivals for a few hours before heading to T1, and whether shops or restaurants stay open overnight in that area.
The goal would be to reach T1 about 3–4 hours before departure, check in with Air India Express, and then use the lounge there.
