This happened today at DFW. My wife was flying to Bangladesh via Doha on Qatar. When we went to check bags, the agent said the flight was overbooked.
They offered $2,150 if she volunteers, plus a confirmed seat on tomorrow’s flight and another $2,150 on top of that. We filled out a form with our home address and email.
It sounded almost too good to be true, so I’m trying to figure out if this is normal with Qatar and how long these payments usually take.
