Honestly, if you’re in Orlando and have a few days to spare, Biscayne and Everglades are total no-brainers. Biscayne is one of those places that feels like a secret national park that’s mostly underwater, where you can snorkel coral reefs and kayak through mangroves. Meanwhile, Everglades gives you that raw, wild Florida vibe, especially if you get into the backcountry or hit Shark Valley on a bike. Way less crowded than the big-name parks and still packed with character.
Anyone else have a go-to escape from central Florida that beats the usual beach day?
