Tried to treat myself today with an Uber Black and a beat up Toyota minivan pulled up. Asked the driver how that was Black and he showed me his screen — it was an UberX on his end. So Uber basically showed me one thing, showed him another, and kept the difference.
Feels super shady. Honestly wouldn’t be surprised if someone eventually files a class action over this.
