Ontario Airport Hotel to Be Rebranded as Hyatt Regency After $103 Million Renovation

The Ontario Airport Hotel & Conference Center is being rebranded as Hyatt Regency Ontario following a large-scale renovation project expected to be completed by the end of the year.

The property was acquired in a bankruptcy auction in 2024 by National CORE from Starbridge Ontario Investment, which is financing around $103 million for the redevelopment.

The renovation, designed by Gensler, will include upgrades such as a new heated outdoor pool, modernized social spaces, and about 22,000 square feet of updated meeting and event facilities. All 295 guest rooms and suites are also being remodeled with updated finishes including wood, stone, and metal accents.

A new restaurant called Lozano is also planned for the hotel. It will serve all-day coastal Mediterranean cuisine with influences from Italian, French, Spanish, and African cooking styles.

Once completed, the hotel will operate under the Hyatt Regency brand and continue serving as a major hospitality and conference destination near Ontario Airport.
