Just landed at SFO on a redeye and went to board my next flight (UA 435 to EWR). The captain comes out and says the plane was overfueled by a lot would take an hour to fix. Then he comes back later to say the only fuel truck they have is full and has to drive across the airport to unload before coming back.
Now our 9:20 flight is delayed to 10:45. Wild that one fueling mistake and one truck can mess up so many flights. First time I’ve ever seen this happen.
