Went in today to pay for my Uber Hertz rental and it turned into a total nightmare. The guy at the counter wouldn’t tell me what I owed, said he needed to check the car, then came back claiming there was “damage.” It was literally just dirt.
Tried to explain the car was filthy when I got it and even had to wash it twice. He still insisted on charging me, then Hertz customer service said they had no record of my rental at all.
Ten minutes later, I get a $140 charge for what I’m guessing is the fake “damage.” I couldn’t even pay for the week I owed because they kicked me out.
