Had to do a double take seeing Madison show up on Google Flights’ trending summer destinations right up there with Tokyo, Maui, and St. Lucia. Not that I’m knocking it, but it’s wild seeing it on a list that includes literal tropical islands and global metropolises.
Makes me wonder if folks are rediscovering the low-key charm of Midwest summers: lakes, festivals, and zero pretentiousness. Anyone here planning a local trip instead of going full beach-and-passport this summer?
