Forced by the recent devaluation news and running short on time, I went on a bit of a booking spree recently to make sure I used my points before losing value.
I ended up booking a few hotels in places I normally would not travel to, and this is one of them.
This is easily one of the best value redemptions I have made so far.
The cash price would have been around £500, but I only used 17,500 points for the stay, which feels like an absolute bargain.
It is also shoulder season, so I am expecting the weather to be a bit mixed, but the redemption value still seems worth it overall.
