Had my first card ever closed this morning with zero warning. It was a Capital One Platinum that later turned into a Quicksilver, but I hadn’t used it in years because I’ve got better cards now. Figured the “sock drawer” approach was fine. Apparently not.
Anyone know how hard this hits your average age of accounts? Kinda surprised they closed something that sat unused for like four years.
