Oceania Cruises Aiming for Luxury Status with New Branding and Ships

Read that Oceania Cruises is officially shifting deeper into the luxury cruise space, with a full rebranding on the horizon. CEO Harry Sommer says it’s all about highlighting the extraordinary value proposition, and with Jason Montague back as chief luxury officer, they’re redefining both Oceania and Regent. Big moves ahead.

The Oceania Sonata will debut in 2027 as the first of four new luxury-class ships, with three more sister ships coming through 2035. Meanwhile, the Insignia exits the fleet that same year. Sounds like they're making serious investments to match their refined image.

Has anyone sailed Oceania before? Do you think this rebranding is the right move?
