Woke up Sunday to that all-too-familiar smell of campfire that no one asked for. Air was thick, skyline hazy, and once again NYC was flirting with the top of the worst air quality charts. I thought we left this behind in 2023, but nope, Canada’s wildfire smoke is back like an unwanted sequel.
Had plans to bike down the Hudson and hit a few outdoor spots, but nixed it after checking the AQI. Honestly, it’s wild how normalized this is getting. Anyone else keeping an N95 by the door now?
