I’ve started to see a pattern where a lot of nomads just rotate through the same cities Lisbon, Bali, Chiang Mai, Medellín, Mexico City. All great places, but they’re also super English-friendly and built around Western conveniences.
Makes me wonder if part of the nomad lifestyle has become about avoiding the harder cultural side of travel the language barriers, unfamiliar norms, and real adaptation. I’ve done it myself, so not judging, just curious: does nomad culture actually push us to explore, or reward staying in the global comfort bubble?
