I mainly commute on Delta and most of the time I feel like I get a cold or dismissive attitude from the flight attendants. I always try to be polite and respectful, especially toward non-rev passengers and crew commuting in uniform, and I am not expecting special treatment.
However, I often do not even get a basic greeting or acknowledgment. On one recent flight, a flight attendant gave water and friendly attention to another commuter in my row but completely ignored me. I am not sure if this is related to the airline I work for or just my experience, but I and some of my commuter friends have noticed similar situations fairly often.
