I work at a sit down restaurant in a major Florida airport. With all the storms up north causing cancellations and delays, people have been getting really unhinged.
I get it. You’re stressed about getting home, work, or your vacation. Travel is rough right now. But I’m not Mother Nature.
Please don’t snap at me because food is taking longer than you expected. I didn’t make the liquor laws, so no, you can’t drink at 5am. And please don’t order a full meal if your flight boards in 10 minutes.
Mostly, just say please and thank you. I’m up before dawn every day to feed travelers who are trying to get where they’re going.
