Our ATH–JFK flight on Sept 3 was delayed over 10 hours. First they said it was due to a late inbound aircraft, then “operational reasons.” Months later, Norse denied EC261 compensation, claiming the delay was because of “convective weather” in Belgrade airspace.
Thing is, the same aircraft from JFK was already delayed by over 8 hours before even reaching Athens. Hard to believe this was all just weather.
