As someone who’s spent way too many hours parked behind mile-long freights on the Crescent, this sounds huge. Dispatcher training, supervisor sign-offs to run a freight ahead, and delay reporting to DOJ all read great on paper. But we’ve heard promises before. If this actually sticks, maybe those “waiting on a freight” announcements start to disappear.
Curious what folks riding 19/20 notice over the next few months. If OTP actually climbs, I’ll happily eat my skepticism. Until then cautiously hopeful.
