I’m currently onboard Majestic Princess and we were just informed via announcement that the ship will not be stopping at Grand Turk due to high winds.
I went to guest services to ask if at least the port fees would be refunded, but was told that since this is a safety-related decision, there would be no compensation.
This is really frustrating as the cruise only had two ports scheduled, and now one has been canceled.
Is this standard policy in situations like this? Is there anything I can do to request compensation or escalate this further?
