Currently in Brussels for work and finished a day early, so I figured I’d try to fly home sooner.
Before checking in, I called Delta to change my flight. They told me the airport had control of the ticket and that KLM would need to handle it at the airport. So I went out to the airport.
KLM then told me they couldn’t change anything because it’s a Delta ticket and I needed to call Delta.
Called Delta back and this time they just flat out said the flight couldn’t be changed. No real explanation. Just… no.
Super odd and frustrating experience. Felt like everyone was just bouncing responsibility back and forth until I gave up.
Has anyone else run into this Delta/KLM loop before?
