Just a heads up for anyone connecting in Istanbul.
When I flew Turkish in April 2025, Care Point confirmed that if you had a 5+ hour layover on a connecting itinerary, they’d issue a meal voucher as a courtesy. It was actually pretty helpful given airport prices.
This month, different story. I asked three different agents. All said that the 5+ hour layover voucher is no longer a thing. Now they only issue meal vouchers if your flight is delayed 3+ hours.
Ironically, I did get one because my flight was delayed 4 hours. But they were clear the old courtesy layover benefit is gone.
It was nice while it lasted.
